It is not all about drinking beer, though today in Bamberg we are in a self-guided brewery tour! Bamberg for a small town has more beer halls and brew Hauss' per sq Klm than any other city. It is fondly referred to as the "beer capital" of Germany. Not a bad title when you think about competing with Munich. We think it is because of the variety of ales in offer. 9 locally owned breweries who are popular in Germany!
