Enjoying Cologne (Koln)

We have transitioned from Berlin to Cologne (or Collin as we like to pronounce it to sound like a local). Today was All Saints Day so after visiting 4 churches and 4 sets of Mass, you can imagine we were truly annointed for our sins! It was a beautiful day as you can see, and this is a happy snap of Jen outside of the famous Dom Cathedral. It is a beautiful structure architectural structure which survived the war unscathed which was a pure miracle. I wonder if as a building it inspired Gaudi with is Sagrada Familia because aside from the candle wax dripping effect commonly commented on about the Sagrada Familia sculptural adornments, this church with it's spires seems impressively similar. I apologise for any architectural buffs out there who I have offended with my simplistic eye and perpective on things.

After Church going we headed to the Deutch Museam of Sport and Olympia which was a little change from the art scene. Unfortunately for all our chocolate loving friends visiting the Chocolate Museum was not high on Jen or my priority list. Sacreligious we know, but hey we didn't want to interfere with true chocolate lovers experience of their visit!
